In the last WEB03 episode I discussed how the simple ritual of drinking water first thing in the morning leads to more energy. But what about taking it to another level? Part of my ritual is adding lemon or lime to the water and I do that for a few reasons. One of the main reasons is simply because I like the taste of it and how it leaves my mouth feeling refreshed and clean and also it seems to settle my tummy if it’s not feeling quite right. But I wanted to know what science has to say about it and in this episode you'll learn exactly how lemon or lime water will energize you

In this episode you’ll discover:

  • How lemon or lime water will help keep your skin, tendons and ligaments healthy
  • How it will assist to maintain and repair cartilage and bones
  • How it may assist in reducing the aging process
  • The process for decreasing the risk of kidney stones
  • How it aids digestion and general gut health
  • How it can assist in reducing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy
  • The positive impact it can have on physical and psychological stress

Speaking with Dr. Carl Greer was a blast. What really makes him tick is freeing people from feeling “stuck” in their lives. As a clinical psychologist he listened to many patients tell him that they aren’t living the lives they want to be living -  they work so hard but never get anywhere, they are the bridesmaid but never the bride or life has just lost its flavour.

I found it totally fascinating to learn how he uses Jungian philosophy and shamanic practices to “unlock” the reasons people feel stuck and how he helps them change their entire lives for the better by helping them “re-write” their life stories.

Dr. Greer is the author of the empowering book "Change Your Story, Change Your Life" and in this episode we explore some of the most potent pearls of wisdom in the book and how to transfer them to your own life.

In this episode you’ll discover:

  • How to change your life story and become healthier & happier and have more energy
  • How delving into your unconscious mind can help you overcome resistance to positive change
  • How dreams are a way to learn about what your are unconsciously thinking
  • Is your current life story true?
  • What are shamanic practices and how can they help heal your life
  • Methods of self healing
  • How understanding where we fit into the bigger picture can help us
  • How energy influences our state of being
  • How to make connections between past and present and make better decisions about how you want to live your life
  • Fast track: 4 ways to change your life story.

Speaking with Dr. Joel Kahn was inspirational and so valuable. He’s a renowned cardiologist who has his mind set on preventing 1 million people from having a heart attack. What really resonated with me was how he makes good heart health so accessible to the everyday person and how he offers simple but life-changing habits as solutions to avoiding cardiac disease. And while he is a Vegan or (as he prefers to be called) a Vegeteblearian, he is really about building bridges between diets to ensure that people are eating the very best for their heart health. There is so much to learn in this episode and all you need to do is listen, apply some of Dr. Joel’s advice, and see how your life changes for the better.

In this episode you’ll discover:

  • Who is more likely to suffer from a heart attack
  • What are the 6 habits that will make you near stroke-proof
  • What are the best breakfasts for busy families
  • What foods we should avoid in our shopping cart
  • How to make sure your heart is really healthy and the key test to get done
