The journey to feeling energized, to get that zest for life like you had in your twenties and to just feel good again is much more than just eating fresh nutrient dense foods. This was the approach I first took as it was a less vulnerable way to get me started on my journey back to Holistic Health rather than diving into deeper issues like my inner voice. But this stuff is huge in so many ways and it doesn’t matter how much healthy food you eat, if you’re stressed because of low self esteem or frustration with life or your relationship, the resulting stress hormones that your body will produce won't allow you to digest food properly, reduce inflammation or heal effectively. It really is so important for us to address issues surrounding how we truly and vulnerably think of ourselves and the thoughts that fill our mind day to day and in this episode of TheEdTalks executive coach and motivational speaker Angus Nelson shares with us ways of becoming a better you.

In this episode you’ll discover:

  • A simple method for positively changing what you think about
  • The technique Angus used for turning his life around
  • How you can empower your children with self worth
  • Why filling your mind with positive affirmations may not help you
  • How to deal with negative thoughts
  • How to influence an internal change that will lead to a better version of yourself
  • What may guide you to finding happiness
  • Four common mistakes that people make that wastes internal energy
  • Four tips to feeling energized again
  • The power of personality assessments
