OVERVIEW:

In the last Energy Boost episode number 30 I discussed some examples of how devastatingly powerful the nocebo effect can be on people, even to the extreme extent of possibly causing death. Check out the episode here.

In this episode I’m going to turn it around and focus on the positive power of the placebo effect, discussing a couple of specific studies showing the remarkable impact that the placebo effect can actually have on people and consequently highlighting how our thoughts can positively affect all of us.

In this episode you’ll discover:

  • Why you should always seek a couple of opinions before surgery
  • Surgeries that have been shown to be no more effective than not operating
  • How women have lost weight seemingly just through a changed mind set
  • Why they way words are spoken can affect us differently
  • How to allow the placebo effect to happen in your life
  • Tools to help stop the playback of actions in your sub conscious mind
